Type of visa:
Indonesia offers E-visa to most countries. This electronic visa is issued beforehand unlike a visa- on-arrival that needs to be stamped on your passport once you arrive.
Application of E-visa:
- Start off by clicking this link, that will redirect you to the official site of e-visa application of Indonesia.
- Fill out some information on the kind of visa you want (for eg: visitor visa) and start an application.
- Next, you’ll have to upload the required documents that are mentioned below.
- After uploading appropriate documents, you’ll have to pay a visa application fee of 1,500,000 IDR that comes out to approximately 7,633 INR.
- After paying the fees you can submit your application. Your application will take up to 5 working days to process.
- Once your application is approved you will receive it on your registered email account.
Required documents for Indonesia Travel visa:
- Passport that is valid for at least 6 months after date of arrival.
- A recent coloured passport sized photograph
- Proof of funds
Other information:
- You can extend this visa or convert it into another visa or stay permit.
- You are prohibited from staying in Indonesia after your stay permit expires
- You must be staying in Indonesia for visit purpose only.
- Your visa processing time can take longer if there is some documents/information missing from your application.
Visa Validity:
The visa is valid for 90 days after date of application. The duration of your stay however can only be of 60 days. You can extend this visa later if you wish to.
