Type of visa:
Georgia offers E-visa to most countries. This electronic visa is issued beforehand unlike a visa- on-arrival that needs to be stamped on your passport once you arrive.
Application process:
- Start off by clicking this link that will redirect you to the official page of Georgia e-visa application. You will need to make an account.
- Start filling an application, fill in your personal details, passport details, etc.
- Select your travel dates.
- Upload all the required documents that ae mentioned below.
- Pay the visa application fee. The fee is approx 1700 INR for 15 days or 2600 INR for 30 days.
- Submit your application and wait until your visa is processed. The processing time can be up to 5 working days.
Required documents for Georgia Travel Visa:
- A passport that is valid for at least 6 months after date of arrival.
- Travel Insurance
- Proof of funds
- Proof of accommodation
- Document proving purpose of visit
Photo specifications:
- Photo size: 35mm x 45, Must be a coloured photo.
- The face should cover about 70-80% of the frame, head should be well centred.
- The picture should be taken in the past 6 months.
- The background must be white and clothes should not match the background.
- Glasses are not allowed.
- Headgears are not allowed except for religious reasons.
Validity of visa:
Your Georgia travel visa is valid for 3 months. This means that you can travel to Georgia within 3 months of receiving the visa. Whereas, your duration of stay can be up to 15 days or 30 days based on the type of visa you choose.
