Treasures of Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya

Meghalaya, the abode of clouds, is famous for rainforests, root bridges, clean rivers, large unexplored caves and bamboo crafts. It has gorgeous waterfalls including the Nohkalikai falls i.e. the highest single plunge waterfall of India.

Manipur literally means, “Jeweled land”. The exquisite state is known for its dance forms, music and sumptuous cuisine. Most of the state is covered in forests, which inhabits rare species of plants and animals including the famous ‘Dancing deer’ of Loktak Lake.

Nagaland is the most under-rated and less explored state of India. Apart from the scenic beauty, it is home to diverse indigenous tribes and culture. It is known as the land of Festivals.

This trip is not advisable for people with motion sickness, nausea, back or knee problems, and low tolerance to cold weather. We will be traveling on rough roads everyday. You need to get up very early in the morning and be ready before 6AM (here twilight time is 4:30AM). You will get rice (not chapati) in most of the meals (both veg and non-veg).
