A Journey Through the Tulip Festival of Jammu and Kashmir

Our 8-day Kashmir Tulip Festival tour package is more than a garden visit; it’s a journey across valleys, rivers, meadows, and mountain peaks. Below is a detailed outline of what awaits you.

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Srinagar airport. After settling into your hotel, we head to the highlight — the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, spread across 30 hectares. The garden bursts into life with rows upon rows of tulips in every shade imaginable. Later, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, soaking in the reflection of snow-capped peaks and floating gardens.

Day 2:Srinagar to Gulmarg

Known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” Gulmarg is a natural paradise. After a scenic drive, you may opt for the world-famous Gondola ride (up to Phase 1 or 2 at your own cost). The rest of the day is for exploring Gulmarg’s alpine meadows and picturesque landscapes on foot.

Day 3:Gulmarg to Pahalgam

On the way to Pahalgam, we pass through Pampore; Kashmir’s saffron capital. Fields of purple saffron flowers make a vibrant sight. In Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds,” you can choose to explore the enchanting Baisaran Valley by pony ride (optional).

Day 4:Pahalgam Sightseeing

This day takes you to Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwadi. Each offers a unique charm: lush meadows, sparkling streams, pine forests, and views that look straight out of a postcard. Chandanwadi also serves as the base for the Amarnath Yatra.

Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast, we return to Srinagar. The afternoon is at leisure, giving you time to relax, shop for handicrafts, or try authentic Kashmiri cuisine in local restaurants.

Day 6: Day Trip to Doodhpathri

Doodhpathri, the “Valley of Milk,” offers a refreshing day out. Its crystal-clear streams appear milky white from afar, while wildflowers dot its rolling meadows. This offbeat gem remains unspoiled and is a favorite among nature lovers.

Day 7: Day Trip to Sonmarg

Sonmarg, meaning “Meadow of Gold,” is a pristine valley nourished by the Indus River. Highlights include views of the Sind Valley, alpine lakes such as Gadsar and Satsar, and the stunning Thajiwas Glacier where snow lingers throughout the year.

Day 8: Departure

Your journey ends with a leisurely morning in Srinagar. If time permits, visit Mughal-era gardens like Shalimar Bagh before heading to the airport with a heart full of memories.
