Type of visa:
Myanmar offers E-visa to foreigners. This electronic visa is beforehand unlike a visa- on-arrival that needs to be stamped on your passport once you arrive.
Visa application process:
- Start off by visiting this link.
- Start an application for tourist visa.
- Fill out the application form with personal details, passport details, etc.
- Upload required documents and pay the application fees of 50 USD (Approx. 4170 INR)
- Processing time for your visa is two working days. You will receive your e-visa on your registered email.
Required Documents for Myanmar Travel Visa:
- Two recent passport sized photos with white background
- Passport valid for at least 6 months after date of arrival
- Return tickets
- Travel itinerary included proof of stay
- Scan of Bio-data page of passport
- Proof of funds
Validity of e-visa:
Your visa is valid for 90 days, so you can apply for the visa 90 days in advance but your stay in Myanmar should be a maximum of 30 days.
